Abstract

The purpose of the study is to characterize the system for monitoring compliance with standardization and product certification requirements. International trade has been proven to be facilitated by compliance with recognized standards and certifications. Methods. It has been proven that monitoring enterprises' compliance with standardization and product certification requirements is a process that is critical to ensuring quality, safety and reliability in the market. In an interconnected global economy, products and services often cross multiple boundaries to reach the end consumer. Standardization simplifies this process by ensuring that products meet international criteria, thereby reducing the need for additional testing and certification in each country. Results. Enterprise monitoring of compliance with product standardization and certification requirements has been identified as a critical strategy for ensuring consumer safety, increasing market competitiveness, complying with regulatory requirements, promoting environmental sustainability, and facilitating international trade. It has been established that the impact of an effective system for monitoring compliance with standardization and product certification requirements has far-reaching consequences. Scientific novelty. Such a system is necessary to create a competitive, innovative and trustworthy market environment that benefits consumers, businesses and the economy as a whole. Compliance with product standardization and certification requirements has been found to be the cornerstone of modern economic activity, ensuring product safety, facilitating trade, and promoting innovation and environmental sustainability. Practical significance. The role of the government in establishing and enforcing a control system is paramount to ensuring that these benefits are realized, ensuring safe and a fair market for both consumers and businesses. The key foundations of the modern system of monitoring the requirements for standardization and certification of products are highlighted. By following the standards, manufacturers and service providers can significantly reduce the risks associated with the use of products.
