Abstract

Globalization and informatization of the modern world are changing the educational process, requiring pedagogical workers to constantly work on improving teaching, forcing them to constantly raise the level of their qualifications, both professional and informational. This stimulates the professional development of teachers, expands their opportunities and increases their self-esteem as high-level specialists who have competitive advantages in the market of educational services. The task of managing the system of improving the qualifications of pedagogical workers by distance education is complex and multifaceted. They include provision of technical resources, development of digital skills of teachers, motivation to learn, creation of quality content, individualization of learning and recognition of results at the level of educational institutions. Solving these problems will improve the effectiveness of distance learning and ensure the continuous professional development of teachers, which is an important condition for the development of the modern educational system. The presented material focuses attention on the challenges and contradictions that arise during the development and use of remote technologies for professional development and in educational activities. Based on the analysis of the successful experience of leading domestic educational institutions, gradual training and encouragement of scientific and pedagogical workers to improve their professional skills and complete mastery of tools for creating distance courses is offered. Despite the difficulties that accompany the renewal of educational processes, the author expresses confidence in the perspective of distance learning as an effective means of forming the individual trajectory of the professional development of scientific and pedagogical workers.
