AGILE CHANGE MANAGEMENT METHODOLOGIES AS TOOLS FOR ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION

Abstract

Objective of the article is to examine the potential of agile change management (ACM) to enhance organizational transformation. Delve into ACM methodologies and application at Netflix, highlighting the role of the balanced scorecard in supporting ACM initiatives. Employing methods of a comprehensive literature review to investigate the theoretical underpinnings of ACM methodologies and their impact on organizational change and modelling a case study of Netflix's ACM implementation to provide insights into the company's specific strategies and outcomes . The study results in a conclusion that ACM offers a promising approach to enhancing effective personnel management in IT companies by fostering a culture of adaptability, innovation, and continuous improvement, empowering their workforce to respond effectively to the dynamic and ever-evolving demands of the technology industry. The Netflix case study demonstrates the successful application of ACM principles, leading to improved employee engagement, productivity, and organizational performance. Additionally, the balanced scorecard can be used as a strategic tool to align ACM initiatives with organizational goals. Scientific novelty is based on contribution to the existing body of knowledge by providing a deeper understanding of the intersection between ACM and organizational transformation. It highlights the unique challenges faced by organizations in managing change and proposes ACM as a viable solution. Additionally, the article explores the role of the balanced scorecard as a strategic tool for aligning ACM initiatives with organizational goals. The article's findings offer valuable insights for organizations seeking to adopt ACM practices and enhance their organizational transformation effectiveness. The Netflix case study provides practical guidance on implementing ACM principles, while the discussion of the balanced scorecard highlights the importance of aligning change initiatives with strategic objectives. The article is practically significant for further ACM studies and management practitioners with designing recommendations that can empower organizations to cultivate a high-performing workforce, adapt to the changing digital landscape, and achieve sustainable success.
