RESEARCH METHODOLOGY OF MANAGEMENT PROBLEMS AS A MEANS OF INFORMATION PROVISION OF FINANCIAL AND ECONOMIC SECURITY MANAGEMENT
Abstract
The possibilities of using the methodology of researching management problems as a means of information support for the process of managing financial and economic security are specified. The vectors of using the methodology of researching management problems as a means of information support for the management of financial and economic security have been determined, such as: preparation of infographics; systematization and structuring of data; determination of weaknesses and strengths of the enterprise and the functioning of its financial and economic security system; content analysis of information that forms the theoretical basis for making managerial decisions; formation of focus groups and organization of their work; generalization of results; development of scenarios of the development of events under the condition of impact on the enterprise's activities of this or that risk or threat; presentation of data at meetings, summing up, formation of analytical conclusions, notes; quantitative assessment of risks; expert risk assessment; analysis of enterprise activity indicators, for example, analysis of financial ratios, dynamic and structural analyses; formation of a sufficiently representative sample to ensure the reliability of research results; data collection and their generalization. The expediency of using «mixed» methods for researching the problems of managing financial and economic security is substantiated, for example, regarding the addition of quantitative indicators of the company’s financial condition with expert opinions, the use of different methodological approaches for evaluating various components of financial and economic security financial, personnel, legal, material, informational, the use of information from the external and internal environments of the enterprise’s functioning, and research into the problems of security-oriented management should also be carried out during the formation of the financial and economic security system to ensure the complete coverage of all resources of the enterprise, and at all stages of the process of its management to ensure the rationality of the functioning of the management mechanism financial and economic security.
