EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE FUNCTIONING OF AGRICULTURAL ENTERPRISES OF CHERKASY REGION IN THE CONTEXT OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MANAGEMENT STRATEGY IN WAR CONDITIONS
Abstract
The article substantiates the need to study the external environment of the functioning of agrarian enterprises, in particular in the conditions of war, when developing a management strategy for them. This allows you to identify new threats and opportunities, minimize risks and ensure stability, rationalize the use of resources, improving decision-making in conditions of uncertainty. The factors influencing the external environment on the construction of the management strategy of agrarian enterprises are revealed: political, economic, social, technological, international, demographic, sectoral, state regulation. The development trends of agricultural enterprises of the Cherkasy region in the conditions of a full-scale invasion in the context of the influence of political, economic, social and technological factors on them were studied with the help of a PEST analysis. With the help of a SWOT analysis, the influence of economic, political, environmental, social and technological factors on the activities of enterprises was determined. In the course of the analysis, strengths, opportunities and negative factors influencing the construction of the management strategy of agricultural enterprises of the Cherkasy region were identified. Negative factors include: economic threats (high inflation and rising energy prices, which significantly increases production costs); political instability (caused by hostilities), which creates additional risks for the activities of enterprises, exports and attracting investments; social threats (related to urbanization), which leads to the loss of labor resources in rural areas; technological factors (high costs of new solutions and low level of their availability for small and medium-sized enterprises); environmental factors (intensification of climatic changes that conditions for agricultural production caused by droughts, rains and other extreme natural phenomena).
