DEVELOPMENT OF ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE EUROPEAN UNION IN THE CONTEXT OF RATIONAL LAND USE

Keywords: green energy, energy efficiency, renewable energy, energy saving, energy infrastructure

Abstract

Objective. The article discusses the European Green Deal, its main tasks, key components, in particular climate change, energy, etc. Methods. Various and cross-border energy infrastructure projects that efficiently produce, store and distribute energy are investigated. Results. The Interactive map of energy infrastructure projects of the European Union countries, which shows the main sources of electricity, in particular France, Germany, Finland, Hungary is presented. The share of electricity production, which is carried out using traditional sources of electricity through the operation of nuclear power plants and through the use of gas or solid fossil fuels has been determined. The Trans-European Energy Networks and their policy aimed at integrating the energy infrastructure of the European Union countries are considered. This policy identifies eleven priority corridors and three priority thematic areas to improve the development of better connected energy networks, and also provides funding for new energy infrastructure projects. The cost of installing a solar panel system and expanding the power line was compared. Renewable energy sources typically take advantage of a combination of methods and technologies to provide reliable energy, reduce costs, and minimize inconvenience. The understanding of alternative energy in the context of issues of architecture, which are highlighted, is considered. two groups, namely buildings with energy installations outside their material and constructive structure, separately placed energy installations in the immediate vicinity of the building and buildings with energy installations placed in their material and constructive structure. The practice of forming energy communities and their main directions of activity are investigated.
