Abstract

Objective. The article aims to substantiate the specificity of digitalization processes in micro-enterprises as a distinct object of management and to develop an integrated approach for managing digital transformation in conditions of limited resources, high flexibility, rapid market changes, and the significance of corporate culture. Methods. The study is based on a structural and functional approach, systematization and comparison of scientific sources, and synthesis of modern management concepts. It includes the identification of five key aspects of digital transformation in micro-entrepreneurship—scale of operations, constant change, technological adaptation, competitive impact, and cultural specificity. The research also introduces mechanisms that ensure efficient digital transition tailored to micro-enterprises. Results. The article presents a detailed framework of digitalization management tailored to the characteristics of micro-enterprises. These include the implementation of flexible SaaS solutions, change management strategies, agile methodologies, market analysis, data-driven competitiveness strategies, and innovation-oriented corporate culture. The proposed mechanisms are interlinked and reinforce each other to build a sustainable and adaptive digital transformation model that enhances operational efficiency and competitiveness. Scientific novelty. The scientific novelty lies in treating digital transformation in micro-enterprises as a unique management object. The research highlights how micro-enterprises differ fundamentally from larger businesses in terms of digital implementation and offers a model that reflects their structural and operational realities. The article also introduces a conceptual model for integrated digitalization management based on adaptability, innovation, and employee involvement. Practical significance. The practical significance of the article is in developing a management toolkit that enables micro-enterprises to effectively implement digital transformation with limited resources. The mechanisms proposed can help business owners improve decision-making, enhance productivity, reduce costs, and remain competitive in a rapidly changing market. The research provides valuable insights for entrepreneurs, consultants, and policymakers involved in supporting small business digitalization.
