Abstract

In the article, the author notes that during the war, agricultural enterprises of Ukraine face numerous challenges that negatively affect their development. Among the main factors of negative impact on the development of agrarian enterprises, an increase in security costs, restrictions on access to sales markets and supply of raw materials, damage to infrastructure and loss of qualified personnel are singled out. It is well-founded that these factors complicate production and trade, which requires joint efforts of the government and business to overcome crisis situations. An algorithm for researching the state and development trends of agrarian enterprises, taking into account the existing realities, is proposed. It is recommended to conduct a study of the development of agricultural enterprises of Ukraine in the key of challenges and risks in the periods of 2019-2021 and 2022-2024 from the standpoint of economic conditions and study the state and results of economic activity in the context of the influence of the internal and external environment of operation. The article examines the current state of the agricultural industry (in 2019-2021 and 2022-2024) and prospects for the development of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine in wartime conditions. The impact of military events on the agricultural sector and the results of the agricultural sector are analyzed. The reasons for the decrease in the share of the agricultural industry in the gross domestic product were studied: physical reduction of production due to military actions; decrease in purchase prices due to the increase in the cost of logistics services; growing share of state administration and mandatory social insurance. The structure of Ukrainian agricultural exports is considered. It was determined that it remains traditional: grains, oils and fats, oil crops, meat products. The article contains recommendations on increasing the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises, ensuring their resistance to external threats and promoting the sustainable development of agriculture in the country.
